Ingredients

  • 2.5 cups angel food cake cubed (1 inch)
  • tablespoons butter 
  • cups rice chex 
  • 10 oz marshmallows 
  • cups strawberries fresh
  • tablespoons sugar 
  • cups non-dairy whipped topping frozen thawed

Directions

  1. Spray 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish or pan with cooking spray.
  2. Toss strawberries with sugar; set aside.
  3. In large microwavable bowl, microwave butter uncovered on High about 45 seconds or until melted.
  4. Add marshmallows; toss to coat. Microwave 1 minute to 1 minute 30 seconds longer. Stir until marshmallows are completely melted and mixture is well blended.
  5. Add cereal; mix well.
  6. Add angel food cubes; mix well.
  7. Using waxed paper or spatula sprayed with cooking spray, press mixture evenly into baking dish. Cool 15 minutes.
  8. For bars, cut into 6 rows by 3 rows. Top each with 1 tablespoon whipped topping and some strawberries.
  9. Serve immediately.
