This recipe is thoughtfully crafted to accommodate various dietary needs, as it is naturally gluten-free and dairy-free, ensuring everyone at the table can enjoy every bite with peace of mind. The star of the show is the bone-in pork chop, which develops a delicious golden-brown crust when seared to perfection before being nestled into a savory-sweet sauce. What truly sets this dish apart is the harmonious fusion of bold ingredients; the tangy notes of Classic Catalina dressing mingle beautifully with the rich, natural sweetness of undrained pineapple chunks and the crisp freshness of coarsely chopped red and yellow peppers. As the instant white rice absorbs the flavorful juices and simmers alongside the meat, it creates a hearty base that elevates this from a simple appetizer to a complete and satisfying main course. With a balanced nutritional profile that includes lean protein, healthy fats, and complex carbohydrates, this skillet offers a guilt-free indulgence.
