  • medium head cabbage shredded
  • cup carrots grated
  • stalks celery chopped
  • tablespoon mustard dry
  • large onion diced red
  • tablespoon salt 
  • 0.8 cup vegetable oil 
  • cup sugar white
  • cup vinegar white

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine cabbage, onion, carrots, and celery.
  2. Sprinkle with 1 cup sugar, and mix well. In a small saucepan, combine vinegar, oil, salt, dry mustard, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  3. Pour hot dressing over cabbage mixture, and mix well.
