  • small apples very thinly sliced
  • tablespoons butter 
  • 1.5 teaspoons cinnamon sugar 
  •  eggs 
  • servings maple syrup 
  • 0.5 cup milk 
  • 0.8 cup pancake mix (from 28.3-oz box)
  • 0.3 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 400F. While oven is heating, melt butter in 9-inch glass pie plate in oven.
  2. Meanwhile, in small bowl, beat egg with wire whisk or egg beater. Beat in pancake mix, milk and vanilla.
  3. Pour over melted butter in pie plate. Arrange apple slices on batter.
  4. Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar.
  5. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until edges are deep golden brown.
