Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb pork tenderloin 
  • teaspoons vegetable oil 
  • teaspoons five-spice powder chinese
  • 0.3 teaspoon garlic powder 
  • cups cabbage chinese finely sliced (napa) ()
  • cup snow peas halved
  •  bell pepper red cut into 2x1/4-inch strips
  • 0.5 can hearts of palm cubed drained (14 oz size)
  • tablespoons sesame seed toasted
  • 0.3 cup soy sauce 
  • tablespoons vegetable oil 
  • tablespoons rice vinegar

Directions

  1. Heat gas or charcoal grill. Rub pork tenderloins with 2 teaspoons oil.
  2. Sprinkle with five-spice powder and garlic powder.
  3. Place pork on grill over medium heat. Cook 20 minutes, turning 3 or 4 times, until pork has slight blush of pink in center and meat thermometer inserted in center reads 160°F.
  4. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing.
  5. In large bowl, mix all remaining salad ingredients except sesame seed. In small bowl, beat all dressing ingredients with wire whisk until smooth and thick.
  6. Pour over salad; toss to coat. Spoon salad onto 6 individual serving plates.
  7. Slice pork; arrange over individual salads.
  8. Sprinkle with sesame seed.
