Ingredients

  • 0.5 pound asparagus fresh ( 9 spears)
  • 0.1 teaspoon hot sauce 
  • 0.5 teaspoon juice of lemon 
  • 1.5 tablespoons cup heavy whipping cream sour low-fat
  • 0.5 teaspoon mustard prepared
  • tablespoon nonfat mayonnaise 
  • Dash paprika

Directions

  1. Snap off tough ends of asparagus.
  2. Remove scales from stalks with a knife or vegetable peeler, if desired. Arrange asparagus in a vegetable steamer over boiling water. Cover and steam 6 to 8 minutes or until crisp-tender.
  3. Transfer asparagus to a serving dish. Set aside, and keep warm.
  4. Combine sour cream and next 4 ingredients in a small saucepan.
  5. Place over medium heat; cook, stirring constantly, 1 minute or until thoroughly heated. Spoon sauce over asparagus, and sprinkle with paprika.
