Ingredients

  • handful nigella seeds mixed (we used sunflower, linseed and pumpkin)
  • tablespoon tamari sauce 
  • tbsp natural yogurt low-fat
  • tbsp mayonnaise 
  • tbsp dijon mustard 
  • tbsp flat-leaf parsley chopped
  •  celery root grated julienned peeled
  •  carrots grated julienned peeled
  • 0.5  cabbage red very thinly sliced
  •  eating apples thinly sliced

Equipment

  • frying pan

Directions

  1. Heat a pan and add the seeds. Lightly toast on medium heat. When slightly brown, splash in tamari and toss seeds about.
  2. Pour out of the pan and reserve.
  3. Mix yogurt, mayo, mustard and parsley.
  4. Pour over veg and apples, toss through and season.
  5. Sprinkle over seeds and serve.
