Ingredients

  • cup apple brandy 
  •  cinnamon sticks whole
  • cups 1/4 cup dried cranberry (juice sweetened if possible) 
  • 0.3 cup vermouth dry
  • bottles cooking wine dry white such as sauvignon blanc
  • bottle full-bodied red wine dry such as cabernet sauvignon
  •  optional: lemon sliced
  •  cranberry-orange relish sliced
  • tablespoons sugar 
  • 0.3 cup vermouth sweet
  • cup citrus vodka 

Equipment

  • sauce pan

Directions

  1. Simmer spices, vermouths, cranberry juice, and sugar in a small saucepan.
  2. Remove from heat and let steep 1 hour.
  3. Chill remaining ingredients in a large container. Strain spice mixture into wine mixture and chill until ready to serve.
