  • 16 ounce carton egg substitute 
  •  garlic clove minced
  • 0.1 teaspoon hot sauce 
  • tablespoon butter light melted
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper 
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt 
  • ounces sharp cheddar cheese shredded reduced-fat
  • 0.8 pound baby vidalia onions with some green tops ( 2 cups), thinly sliced

Directions

  1. Melt butter in a 10-inch ovenproof skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add onions and garlic; cook 5 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally.
  3. Arrange onion mixture evenly in bottom of pan.
  4. Combine egg substitute and next 3 ingredients; pour evenly over onion mixture. Reduce heat to medium-low; cook, uncovered, 8 minutes or until almost set (mixture will still be wet on top).
  5. Preheat broiler.
  6. Broil frittata 3 minutes; sprinkle with cheese, and broil 1 minute or until cheese melts.
  7. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting into 8 wedges.
