Ingredients

  • ounces bacon ( 6 slices)
  • ounces cherry tomatoes halved
  •  garlic clove pressed
  • tablespoons mayonnaise 
  • 12 cups the of 1 cos lettuce (from 1 large head; 13 ounces)
  • 1.5 tablespoons citrus champagne vinegar

Directions

  1. Cook bacon in large skillet over medium heatuntil crisp; transfer to paper towels. Crumblebacon coarsely.
  2. Pour off all but 1 tablespoondrippings from skillet; reserve skillet.
  3. Place lettuce and tomatoes in large serving bowl.
  4. Heat bacon drippings in skillet over medium heat.
  5. Add garlic, then mayonnaise and vinegar; whisk until blended, 30 to 40 seconds. Season dressing to taste with salt and pepper.
  6. Pour over lettuce and tomatoes and toss to coat.
  7. Sprinkle bacon over.
  8. Serve immediately.
