Look no further than these irresistible Bacon Wrapped Shrimp, a delightful fusion of classic textures and bright citrus notes. This recipe is a true showstopper, offering a rich, smoky crunch from the crispy bacon that contrasts beautifully with the tender, succulent shrimp. What makes this dish truly special is the vibrant orange-chile dressing that coats each bite, infusing the seafood with a refreshing zesty kick while the spicy red chile adds just the right amount of heat to wake up your taste buds.

Designed for those with dietary restrictions, this elegant starter is naturally gluten-free and dairy-free, making it safe to share with everyone at your next gathering. The preparation is surprisingly simple yet yields restaurant-quality results. You will start by tossing fresh scallions, chopped cilantro, seeded orange segments, and a hot red chile in extra-virgin olive oil to create a glossy, aromatic sauce. Each large shrimp is then individually wrapped in a slice of bacon and secured with a toothpick before hitting the broiler. The result is golden, crispy bacon encasing perfectly cooked shrimp in just a few minutes.

Serving is an experience in itself. By placing a crisp bibb or Boston lettuce leaf on your plate and wrapping the sauced shrimp like a miniature burrito, you create a handheld treat that feels both rustic and refined. The cool, fresh lettuce balances the richness of the bacon and the intensity of the sauce, ensuring every bite is a harmonious explosion of flavor. Whether you are hosting a dinner party or simply craving a sophisticated snack, this recipe is sure to be a hit. 2. Preheat the broiler. In a bowl, stir together the chopped orange, chile, scallions, cilantro, olive oil, and salt and pepper.
  3. Wrap each shrimp in a section of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
  4. Put the shrimp on a baking sheet and broil, turning once, until the bacon is crisp and the shrimp is cooked through, 2 to 3 minutes each side. To serve, lay a lettuce leaf on the cutting board.
