Ingredients

  • cups vegetable stock flavored (from 32-oz carton)
  • cups canned tomatoes diced organic undrained (from 28-oz can)
  • cup carrots sliced
  • cup celery stalks sliced
  •  bay leaves dried
  • 0.5 cup flour all-purpose
  • small onion cut into fourths
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper 
  • cups potatoes cubed
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt 
  •  vegetable burgers frozen thawed cut into 1-inch pieces
  • small turnip cubed peeled

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350F. In ovenproof 4-quart Dutch oven, mix potatoes, turnips, rutabaga, celery, carrots and onions.
  2. In small bowl, mix flour and broth until smooth. Stir broth mixture and remaining ingredients except burger pieces into vegetable mixture.
  3. Heat to boiling over medium-high heat. Stir in burger pieces.
  4. Cover; bake 50 to 60 minutes, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are tender.
  5. Remove bay leaf.
