  • tablespoons balsamic vinegar 
  • 0.1 teaspoon pepper black
  • pound carrots sliced ( 5 small)
  • 0.5 teaspoon dijon mustard 
  • teaspoon basil dried
  • teaspoons honey 
  • teaspoon olive oil 
  • cup water

Directions

  1. Place carrot in a large saucepan; add water, and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes or until tender.
  2. Drain; return carrot to saucepan.
  3. Combine vinegar and remaining 5 ingredients in a small bowl, stirring well with a wire whisk; add to carrot. Cook over medium heat 2 minutes, stirring often.
  4. Serve warm.
