Ingredients

  • tablespoon balsamic vinegar 
  • 16 ounce beef tenderloin steaks 
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper black freshly ground
  • teaspoons bottled garlic minced
  • 0.1 teaspoon pepper red crushed
  • tablespoons cooking sherry dry
  • teaspoons honey 
  • tablespoons soya sauce low-sodium
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Sprinkle both sides of steaks evenly with salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Coat pan with cooking spray.
  3. Add steaks to pan; cook 3 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness.
  4. Remove steaks from pan; keep warm.
  5. Add garlic and red pepper to pan; saut 30 seconds.
  6. Add sherry to pan; bring to a boil. Cook 30 seconds.
  7. Add soy sauce and remaining ingredients; bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat, and cook 1 minute.
  8. Serve with steaks.
