  • teaspoons balsamic vinegar 
  • servings garnishes: chocolate curls fresh
  •  round shortbread cookies 
  • 16 oz strawberries fresh quartered
  • 0.3 cup sugar 
  • oz vanilla ice-cream cups

Directions

  1. Combine first 3 ingredients in a medium bowl; let stand 1 to 2 hours at room temperature, stirring occasionally.
  2. Place shortbread cookies on individual servings plates.
  3. Remove ice cream from cups, and place on cookies. Spoon strawberry mixture over ice cream.
  4. Garnish, if desired.
  5. Serve immediately.
