  • tablespoons brown sugar 
  • 45 ounce black beans drained canned
  • ounces chorizo 
  • 0.5 cup rum dark
  •  garlic cloves finely chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground ginger 
  • tablespoon hot sauce 
  •  jalapeño peppers seeded chopped
  • 0.5 cup catsup 
  • 0.5 cup blackstrap molasses 
  • 0.3 cup mustard prepared
  • cup onion diced
  • tablespoons worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. Cook chorizo in a large saucepan over medium heat until browned, stirring to crumble; drain and set aside.
  2. Add onion, garlic, and jalapeos to pan; cook 5 minutes or until onion is tender. Stir in ketchup and remaining ingredients except beans; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in the chorizo and beans; simmer for 1 hour over low heat, stirring occasionally.
