  • 0.5 teaspoon celery seed 
  • teaspoon chili powder 
  • tablespoons t brown sugar dark packed ()
  • cups cabbage green thinly sliced
  • 0.3 teaspoon ground cumin 
  • tablespoons mayonnaise 
  • cup tomato purée 
  • 2.3 cups turkey dark light shredded cooked ( and meat)
  • 0.3 cup water 
  •  hamburger buns whole wheat soft (such as onion, egg, sesame, or )

Directions

  1. Whisk mayonnaise, apple cidervinegar, and celery seeds in small bowl toblend. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  2. Add cabbage; toss to blend. Cover bowl andchill. DO AHEAD: Can be made 1 day ahead.Cover and chill.
  3. Sauté bacon inheavy small saucepan over medium heatuntil crisp and brown, about 5 minutes.
  4. Addtomato puree, apple cider vinegar, 1/4 cupwater, dark brown sugar, chili powder, andground cumin. Bring sauce to boil; reduceheat and simmer 5 minutes. Season to tastewith salt and pepper.
  5. Add shredded cooked turkey tobarbecue sauce and bring to boil. Reduceheat and simmer until turkey is heatedthrough, stirring occasionally.Split and toast rolls. Divide turkey andslaw among rolls. Press tops down lightlyto compress, then serve.
