  • cup celery finely chopped
  • 0.3 cup cooking wine dry red
  • 0.3 teaspoon garlic powder 
  • 0.8 cup honey 
  • tablespoons juice of lemon 
  • small onion finely chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper 
  • teaspoon salt 
  • pounds cut apart boneless country-style
  • 0.5 cup water 
  • cup water 
  • tablespoons vinegar white
  • tablespoons worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. Saut onion and celery in hot bacon drippings in a saucepan over medium-high heat until tender.
  2. Add tomato sauce and next 8 ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat;simmer, stirring occasionally, 1 hour.
  3. Remove heat.
  4. Combine 1 cup water and vinegar in a spray bottle.
  5. Grill ribs, covered with grill lid, over medium heat (300 to 35
  6. to 1 1/2 hours, spraying with vinegar solution and turning ribs occasionally, and basting with 1 cup tomato sauce mixture every 30 minutes.
  7. Serve with remaining tomato sauce mixture.
  8. *4 pounds bone in country-style pork ribs may be substituted.
