  • 0.3 cup almonds sliced
  • cup rice uncooked
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper black
  • 10.5 ounce beef broth canned
  • 0.3 cup cilantro leaves fresh chopped
  •  garlic clove minced
  • 0.3 cup green onions chopped
  • teaspoons olive oil 
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt 
  • 0.8 cup water

Directions

  1. Heat olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add almonds, and saut for 2 minutes or until lightly browned.
  3. Add the rice and garlic, and saut for 2 minutes. Stir in the water and broth, and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.
  4. Remove from heat; stir in cilantro and the remaining ingredients.
