Ingredients

  • 0.3 teaspoon five spice powder 
  • 24 slices crusty baguette french (1/)
  • 0.3 cup carrots shredded
  • 0.3 cup cilantro leaves chopped
  • 0.3 cup cucumber finely chopped
  • 0.3 cup daikon radish (matchstick-cut)
  • tablespoon juice of lime fresh
  • teaspoon rice vinegar 
  • slices pan drippings from roast beef preferably cut in quarters (1/3 lb)
  • 0.5 cup salad dressing 
  • teaspoons sriracha

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350F. In medium bowl, stir together carrot, radish, cucumber, sriracha sauce, vinegar, lime juice and cilantro. Set aside.
  2. Arrange bread slices on ungreased cookie sheet.
  3. Bake 6 to 8 minutes or until lightly toasted.
  4. In small bowl, stir together mayonnaise and five-spice powder.
  5. Spread 1 teaspoon mayonnaise mixture on each bread slice.
  6. Place a quarter slice roast beef on each bread slice. Top with 1 teaspoon vegetable mixture.
