  • 1.5 tablespoons brown sugar 
  • 15.5 oz canned tomatoes with green peppers and onions, drained canned
  • large eggs lightly beaten
  • 0.8 cup bell pepper diced green
  • 16 oz ground turkey sausage reduced-fat
  • pounds pd of ground turkey lean
  • 0.8 cup milk 
  • 0.8 cup onion finely chopped
  • 0.8 cup quick-cooking oats uncooked
  • teaspoon salt 
  • tablespoon worcestershire sauce 
  • teaspoon mustard yellow

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 35
  2. Combine first 8 ingredients in a medium bowl.
  3. Add ground turkey and sausage; combine mixture just until blended, using hands.
  4. Place mixture on a lightly greased rack in an aluminum foil-lined broiler pan; shape mixture into a 10- x 5-inch loaf. Top with stewed tomatoes, and sprinkle with brown sugar.
  5. Bake at 350 for 1 hour and 35 minutes or until a meat thermometer inserted into thickest portion registers 16
  6. Remove from oven; let stand 20 minutes.
