  • cup beef broth 
  •  carrots sliced
  • 0.3 cup flour all-purpose
  • pound mushrooms fresh

  • pounds goat meat 
  • tablespoons olive oil 
  •  onion chopped
  • teaspoon oregano dried
  • pounds potatoes - remove skin diced red
  • teaspoon salt 
  •  turnip cubed

Directions

  1. In a large mixing bowl combine flour, oregano, salt and pepper.
  2. Place bear meat in the bowl a little at a time and coat well.
  3. Heat oil and butter in a large skillet. Fry the bear meat until browned.
  4. Let drain on paper towels.
  5. Fill a large Dutch oven with 2 to 3 quarts water.
  6. Add bear meat, onions, beef broth, bay leaves, potatoes, mushrooms carrots and turnips. Cook on medium-high heat for 2 to 3 hours.
  7. Add more water as needed.
