Ingredients

  • 30 oz black beans divided undrained canned
  • 1.5 cups brown rice instant uncooked
  • 0.5 cup onions chopped
  • 0.7 oz env. seasons dressing mix italian good
  • cups water 

Equipment

Directions

  1. Blend 1-1/2 cans beans in blender until smooth.
  2. Pour into large saucepan.
  3. Add remaining beans, water, onions and dressing mix; stir until well blended. Bring to boil on medium-high heat.
  4. Stir in rice; cover. Simmer on low heat 5 min. or until heated through; stir.
