  • 15 ounce black beans drained canned
  • teaspoon chili powder 
  • ounces sharp cheddar cheese shredded reduced-fat
  • ounce no-salt-added tomato sauce canned

Equipment

Directions

  1. Combine beans and tomato sauce in a small saucepan; bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  2. Remove from heat.
  3. Mash beans with a potato masher or back of a spoon.
  4. Add cheese and chili powder; cook, stirring constantly, until cheese melts.
  5. Serve dip warm with toasted pita triangles and fresh vegetables.
  6. Free (1 tablespoon)
