  • teaspoons apple cider vinegar 
  • cups carrots grated
  • cups celery sliced
  • teaspoons chives chopped
  • tablespoons parsley fresh chopped
  • 1.5 teaspoons garlic minced
  • 0.3 cup hot sauce 
  • cups iceberg lettuce 
  • 0.8 cup buttermilk low-fat
  • servings salt and pepper 
  • 0.5 cup scallions sliced
  • pounds shrimp deveined peeled
  • 0.5 cup cup heavy whipping cream sour
  • tablespoons butter unsalted
  • tablespoons vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Combine buttermilk, sour cream, apple cider vinegar, parsley, chives and garlic in a bowl; stir well and season with salt and pepper. Chill for 30 minutes.
  2. Toss lettuce, carrots, celery and scallions with buttermilk dressing in a large bowl.
  3. Place in serving bowl.
  4. Warm a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Add oil and butter. When butter sizzles, add shrimp and cook, stirring, until opaque, about 4 minutes.
  6. Add buffalo-wing sauce, stir to coat shrimp and cook 1 minute longer.
  7. Pour shrimp and sauce over salad.
