Ingredients

  • servings basil fresh
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper black freshly ground
  • 0.3 cup butter divided
  • servings avocado 
  • teaspoon ground mustard dry
  • large eggs 
  • cup seasoned bread crumbs 
  • pound lump crab meat drained
  • 0.3 cup mayonnaise 
  • teaspoon paprika 
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • teaspoons worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. Combine breadcrumbs and next 7 ingredients in a large bowl. Fold in crab. Shape into 6 (3-inch) cakes. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add half of crab cakes, and saut 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Repeat with remaining butter and crab cakes.
  3. Serve with Fresh Basil Aoli and Corn, Tomato, and Avocado Salsa.
