Ingredients

  • 10 ounce broccoli cuts frozen thawed
  • ounces three-cheese gourmet cheddar cheese blend shredded divided
  • large eggs lightly beaten
  • 0.5 pound sausage meat 
  • 0.3 cup milk 
  • small onion chopped
  • teaspoon pepper 
  •  plum tomatoes thinly sliced
  • cup ricotta cheese 
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Cook ground pork sausage and chopped onion in a skillet over medium-high heat, stirring until sausage crumbles and is no longer pink; drain.
  2. Toss together sausage mixture, broccoli, and 1/2 cup cheese blend. Spoon into a lightly greased 11- x 7-inch baking dish.
  3. Stir together 1/2 cup cheese blend, eggs, and next 4 ingredients; pour over broccoli mixture.
  4. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cheese blend. Arrange tomato on top.
  5. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes; uncover and bake 15 more minutes.
  6. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
