  • tablespoon brandy 
  • tablespoons brown sugar divided
  • 1.5 tablespoons butter 
  • cups whipped cream low-fat
  • tablespoons orange juice concentrate thawed
  • 0.1 teaspoon salt 
  • tablespoon water

Directions

  1. Peel bananas, and cut bananas in half lengthwise.
  2. Cut each half crosswise into 2 pieces.
  3. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add butter to pan, swirling to coat. Cook butter 1 minute or until lightly browned.
  5. Add bananas; saut 1 minute or until browned and tender, turning once.
  6. Add 1 tablespoon sugar, stirring gently until sugar dissolves.
  7. Place bananas in a medium bowl.
  8. Combine remaining 2 tablespoons sugar, juice concentrate, brandy, 1 tablespoon water, and salt in pan. Bring to a simmer; cook 1 minute.
  9. Drizzle sauce over bananas.
  10. Serve immediately over ice cream.
  11. Garnish with mint sprigs, if desired.
