Ingredients

  • tablespoons chives minced
  • cloves garlic diced finely
  • servings pepper black freshly ground
  • tablespoon juice of lemon 
  • tablespoons parmesan grated
  • small shallots diced finely
  • tablespoons butter unsalted divided
  • 12 ounce extra wide egg noodles

Directions

  1. Cook the noodles in a large pot of boiling salted water over medium heat, according to the package directions.
  2. Drain in a colander and set aside.
  3. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add the shallot and garlic and saute until tender. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  5. Add the remaining 2 tablespoons butter and when melted stir in the chives, Parmesan and lemon.
  6. Add the noodles to the skillet and toss to combine.
  7. Transfer to a serving bowl and serve with Gina's Oxtail Stew.
