  • servings pepper black freshly ground
  • 0.3 cup buttermilk 
  • 0.3 cup flat parsley coarsely chopped
  • 0.3 cup chives fresh chopped
  • tablespoon tarragon fresh chopped
  •  garlic clove chopped
  • servings kosher salt 
  • tablespoon juice of lemon fresh
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise

In a processor, purée 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1/3 cupbuttermilk, 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives, 1/4 cup coarsely choppedflat-leaf parsley, 1 tablespoon chopped fresh tarragon, 1 tablespoon fresh lemonjuice, 2 anchovy fillets packed in oil (drained, chopped), and 1 choppedgarlic clove until smooth.
