Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups peas sweet frozen (from 1-lb bag)
  • 0.3 cup spring onion thinly sliced
  • oz suya seasoning mix with chicken-flavor seasoning packet instant
  • 4.5 oz mushrooms undrained sliced
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper 
  • 4.5 cups cabbage shredded green red (1 medium head)
  • tablespoons sesame seed toasted
  • 0.5 cup slivered almonds toasted
  • tablespoons sugar 
  • 0.3 cup tarragon vinegar 
  • 0.3 cup vegetable oil 
  • 11 oz corn sweet whole drained canned

Directions

  1. Cook peas as directed on bag.
  2. Drain; cool 10 minutes. In large bowl, mix cooled peas and remaining salad ingredients.
  3. In small bowl, mix contents of seasoning packet from noodles, vinegar, oil, sugar and pepper until well blended.
  4. Pour dressing over salad; toss to coat. Refrigerate until chilled, at least 2 hours.
  5. Break noodles into 3/4-inch pieces. Before serving, stir noodles, almonds and sesame seed into salad.
  6. Garnish with leaf of red cabbage, if desired.
