  • 1.3 teaspoons ground pepper red
  • teaspoons juice of lemon fresh
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • cup sugar 
  • 0.3 cup water

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 32
  2. Combine the first 6 ingredients in a medium, heavy saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add nuts to pan, and cook 22 minutes or until sugar mixture thickens and coats nuts, stirring occasionally. Immediately spread nut mixture in a single layer on a jelly roll pan coated with cooking spray.
  4. Bake at 325 for 20 minutes. Separate nuts with 2 forks. Cool completely.
