  • 0.3 cup cocoa mix hot
  • cup ice cubes crushed
  • teaspoon espresso grounds instant
  • cup skim milk 
  • 0.3 cup sugar 
  • 0.3 cup water divided
  • 0.5 cup water boiling

Directions

  1. Combine boiling water and espresso; stir until coffee dissolves.
  2. Pour into an ice cube tray; freeze 4 hours or until firm.
  3. Combine sugar and 2 tablespoons water in a small heavy saucepan over medium heat; cook until sugar dissolves. Continue cooking an additional 5 minutes or until golden.
  4. Remove from heat; carefully stir in 2 tablespoons water with a whisk (mixture will bubble vigorously).
  5. Let cool.
