  • cups wheat chex 
  • cups pinenuts 
  • 1.5 cups almonds sliced
  • cup banana chips dried
  • 0.5 cup butter 
  • 0.5 cup honey 
  • teaspoon non-dairy creamer like mimiccreme dry instant
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cardamom 
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground ginger 
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon 
  • 0.5 teaspoon nutmeg 
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cloves 
  • 0.5 teaspoon orange zest dried
  • teaspoon vanilla

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 300°F. In ungreased large roasting pan, mix cereals, almonds and banana chips.
  2. In 1-quart saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Remove from heat. Stir in honey, dry milk, cardamom, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, orange peel and vanilla until well mixed.
  4. Pour over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly coated.
  5. Bake 45 to 60 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes, until golden brown.
  6. Spread on waxed paper or paper towels; cool about 15 minutes. Store in airtight container.
