Ingredients

  • lb ground beef 80% lean (at least )
  • 1.3 cups water hot
  • box hawaiian rolls 
  • cup salsa thick
  • 1.7 cups milk 
  • 0.3 teaspoon chili powder 
  • 30 oz chili beans sauce undrained canned
  • 0.8 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • cup tomatoes chopped

Directions

  1. In 4-quart Dutch oven, cook beef over medium-high heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly cooked; drain.
  2. Stir in hot water, sauce mix and uncooked pasta (from Hamburger Helper box), salsa, milk, chili powder and beans.
  3. Heat to boiling, stirring frequently.
  4. Reduce heat; cover and simmer about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
  5. Remove from heat; stir.
  6. Sprinkle each serving with 2 tablespoons cheese and tomato.
