Suggestions

If you’re craving a dish that’s crispy, flavorful, and ready in just 30 minutes, chicken flautas are the perfect choice. Made with tender rotisserie chicken wrapped in warm corn tortillas, these golden rolls deliver a satisfying crunch with every bite. What makes them even more appealing is that they’re naturally gluten-free, so everyone at the table can enjoy them without worry.

The beauty of this recipe lies in its balance of textures and fresh toppings. The creamy avocado-lime sauce pairs wonderfully with the crispiness of the fried tortillas, while tangy radishes and zesty salsa add brightness and a refreshing bite. A sprinkle of cilantro and a squeeze of lime bring everything together, creating a vibrant dish that feels both indulgent and wholesome.

Perfect for lunch or dinner, chicken flautas are a crowd-pleaser that can be served as a main course or shared among friends. With a caloric breakdown that balances protein, fat, and carbs, they’re hearty enough to satisfy but still lightened by the fresh garnishes. Whether you’re cooking for family or entertaining guests, this recipe is a quick way to bring bold Mexican-inspired flavors to the table without spending hours in the kitchen.

Directions

  1. Scoop the avocado into a blender.
  2. Add the sour cream and the juice of 1/2 lime and pulse until smooth. Season with salt.
  3. Squeeze the remaining 1/2 lime over the radishes in a small bowl and sprinkle with 1/4 teaspoon salt. Toss the chicken with 3/4 cup salsa in a medium bowl.
  4. Wrap the tortillas in paper towels and microwave until soft, about 45 seconds. Spoon the chicken mixture down the middle of the tortillas. Fold in the ends and roll up like a burrito; secure with toothpicks.
