  • 0.5 teaspoon bottled garlic minced
  • cup water chestnuts canned drained sliced
  • cups d cabbage-and-carrot coleslaw 
  • ounces grilled chicken breast strips (such as Louis Rich)
  • tablespoons cider vinegar 
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper red crushed
  • teaspoon sesame oil dark
  • tablespoons dry-roasted peanuts unsalted
  • teaspoon bottled ground ginger fresh (such as Spice World)
  • tablespoons hoisin sauce 
  • teaspoons soya sauce low-sodium

Directions

  1. Place peanuts in a small nonstick skillet over medium-high heat; cook 3 minutes or until lightly browned, shaking pan frequently.
  2. Remove pan from heat; set aside.
  3. Combine hoisin, vinegar, soy sauce, ginger, oil, pepper, and garlic in a small bowl, stirring well with a whisk.
  4. Combine peanuts, coleslaw, water chestnuts, and chicken in a medium bowl; toss well.
  5. Spoon about 1/3 cup chicken salad in the center of each lettuce leaf; top each with 2 teaspoons sauce.
  6. Roll up; secure with a wooden pick.
