  • tablespoons olive oil 
  • cup onion thinly sliced
  • cloves garlic finely chopped
  • 30 oz nopales fresh cleaned drained cut into strips (3 or 4)
  • cups chicken shredded cooked
  • 16 oz salsa thick
  • tablespoon chipotles in adobo canned (from 7-oz can chipotle chiles in adobo sauce)
  • 0.3 cup cilantro leaves fresh chopped
  • 8.2 oz flour tortilla warmed soft for tacos and fajitas (10 count

  1. In 12-inch skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Stir in onion and garlic; cook and stir about 5 minutes or until onion is tender.
  2. Stir in nopales, chicken, salsa and adobo sauce. Cook and stir about 3 minutes or until mixture is hot. Stir in cilantro.
  3. Spoon about 1/3 cup chicken mixture onto each tortilla.
  4. Roll up tortillas.
