  • 0.8 cup apple cider unsweetened
  • slices bacon chopped
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper black freshly ground
  • 0.5 cup fat-skimmed beef broth fat-free
  • 0.3 cup onion fresh minced
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt 
  • 24 ounce chicken breast halves boneless skinless

Directions

  1. Place each chicken breast half between 2 sheets of heavy-duty plastic wrap; pound to 1/2-inch thickness using a meat mallet or rolling pin.
  2. Sprinkle chicken evenly with salt and pepper.
  3. Cook bacon in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat until crisp.
  4. Remove bacon from pan.
  5. Add chicken to drippings in pan; cook 6 minutes on each side or until done.
  6. Remove chicken from pan; keep warm.
