Ingredients

  • cups cabbage coarsely chopped
  • 15 ounce tomato sauce with onion, green peppers, and celery canned
  • clove garlic minced
  • 0.1 teaspoon ground allspice 
  • 0.3 teaspoon ground pepper red
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper 
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt 
  • 16 ounce skinned 
  • 0.5 teaspoon sugar 
  • 0.3 cup water

Directions

  1. Sprinkle chicken with salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Coat a large nonstick skillet with cooking spray; place over medium-high heat until hot.
  2. Add chicken, and cook 3 to 5 minutes on each side or until browned.
  3. Remove chicken from skillet.
  4. Add cabbage and remaining 6 ingredients to skillet; stir well.
  5. Place chicken over cabbage mixture. Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes or until chicken is done and cabbage is tender, stirring occasionally.
