  • 0.5 cup beer 
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper black freshly ground
  • teaspoons canola oil 
  • tablespoons parsley fresh
  • tablespoon honey 
  • tablespoons soy sauce 
  • 0.1 teaspoon salt 
  • tablespoons shallots thinly sliced
  • 24 ounce chicken breast halves boneless skinless
  • tablespoon dijon mustard

Directions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add oil to pan; swirl to coat.
  3. Sprinkle chicken evenly with pepper and salt.
  4. Add chicken to pan; saut 6 minutes on each side or until done.
  5. Remove chicken from pan; keep warm.
  6. Add shallots to pan; cook 1 minute or until translucent.
  7. Combine beer and next 3 ingredients (through honey) in a small bowl; stir with a whisk.
  8. Add beer mixture to pan; bring to a boil, scraping pan to loosen browned bits. Cook 3 minutes or until liquid is reduced to 1/2 cup. Return chicken to pan; turn to coat with sauce.
  9. Sprinkle evenly with parsley.
