Ingredients

  • 0.8 cup rice long-grain white uncooked
  • cup peas sweet frozen
  • 0.8 cup water 
  • 18 oz cream of mushroom soup canned
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper black
  • lb chicken breast halves boneless skinless
  • 0.3 cup parmesan shredded

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 375°F.
  2. In ungreased 2-quart baking dish, mix all ingredients except chicken and Parmesan cheese. Cover; bake 15 minutes. Uncover and stir rice mixture.
  3. Place chicken pieces on top of rice.
  4. Cover and bake about 30 minutes longer or until rice is tender and juice of chicken is clear when center of thickest part is cut (170°F).
  5. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
