Craving a hearty and satisfying dish that's perfect for a weekend brunch or a cozy morning meal? Look no further than this Chili-Cheese Grits recipe! It's a Southern-inspired comfort food that's incredibly easy to make and naturally gluten-free.

Imagine a creamy, cheesy base of perfectly cooked grits, infused with the subtle heat of green chiles and a touch of garlic. This dish gets a welcome depth of flavor from Worcestershire sauce and is held together with an egg binder for a creamy but sliceable baked casserole. The star of the show is, of course, a generous helping of sharp Cheddar cheese, which melts into a gooey, irresistible delight.

This recipe yields eight servings, making it ideal for feeding a crowd or enjoying leftovers throughout the week. At only 312 calories per serving, it's a relatively light but filling option. (Remember, the caloric breakdown is fairly high in fat due to the cheese and butter.) What's more, it's incredibly versatile. The baked grits can be served fresh from the oven or chilled, cut into squares, and broiled for a crispy, golden-brown treat. Pair it with some savory beef and vegetables for a complete and delicious meal. Who knew grits could be so exciting?
