  • 19 oz beans red undrained progresso® canned
  • cups canned tomatoes diced organic undrained muir glen® (from 28-oz can)
  • tablespoon chili powder 
  • cloves garlic crushed
  • teaspoon ground cumin 
  • lb ground beef 80% lean (at least )
  • cup onion chopped
  • teaspoon oregano dried
  • 0.5 teaspoon hot sauce red
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • teaspoon cocoa powder unsweetened

Directions

  1. In 3-quart saucepan, cook beef, onion and garlic over medium-high heat about 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown; drain.
  2. Stir in remaining ingredients except beans.
  3. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
  4. Stir in beans.
  5. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low; simmer uncovered about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until desired thickness.
