  • 15 ounce canned tomatoes diced canned
  • 1.5 tablespoons chili powder 
  • tablespoons olive oil extra virgin 
  • 0.5 cup cilantro leaves fresh chopped
  • tablespoons garlic fresh minced
  • 0.3 teaspoon garlic salt 
  • tablespoons ground cumin 
  • 0.5 teaspoon kosher salt 
  • pound ground beef lean
  • cup onion finely chopped
  • 30 ounce beans black red canned
  • 32 ounces reduced sodium chicken broth 
  • pound tortellini

Directions

  1. Cook tortellini according to package directions.
  2. Heat olive oil into a large dutch oven over medium heat.
  3. Saute onion and garlic for about 5 minutes then brown beef until browned.
  4. Drain if necessary.
