  • teaspoon double-acting baking powder 
  • teaspoon baking soda 
  • cups firmly brown sugar light packed
  • cups butter softened
  • 10 ounce hershey's cinnamon chips 
  • large eggs 
  • 5.5 cups flour all-purpose
  • cup hershey's cocoa 
  • 0.3 cup coffee granules instant
  • teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Beat butter at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy. Gradually add brown sugar, beating well.
  2. Add eggs, beating until blended.
  3. Combine flour and next 5 ingredients. Gradually add to butter mixture, beating at low speed just until blended. Stir in cinnamon chips.
  4. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls, 2 inches apart, onto lightly greased baking sheets.
  5. Bake at 350, in batches, for 8 to 10 minutes. Cool on baking sheets 5 minutes.
  6. Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
