  • 11.5 ounce chocolate chips 
  • 16.5 ounce chocolate chip cookie mix refrigerated
  • pints whipped cream softened
  • 1.5 cups toffee chips english
  • 0.3 cup vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. If using dough log,cut into 20 equal-size rounds. Arrange sliceddough rounds (or 20 pre-portioned rounds)on 2 baking sheets, spacing evenly. Usingfingertips, press each into 2 1/2-inch round.
  2. Bake cookies until golden, about 11 minutesfor sliced rounds and 15 minutes for pre-portioneddough.
  3. Transfer to rack; cool.
  4. Line baking sheet with foil; place infreezer.
  5. Place 1 cookie, flat side up, on worksurface. Top with 1/3 cup ice cream; spreadalmost to edge. Top with single layer ofbananas. Sandwich with another cookie; pressgently to compact.
  6. Place on baking sheet infreezer. Repeat with remaining cookies,ice cream, and bananas. Freeze 2 hours. Usingknife, smooth sides of ice cream sandwiches.Freeze 1 hour.
  7. Place chocolate chips and oil in smallglass bowl; microwave on medium-high untilchocolate is melted, stopping occasionally tostir, about 1 1/2 minutes.
  8. Let stand just until cool,about 10 minutes.
  9. Place granola or toffee (if using) onplate. Dip 1 ice cream sandwich halfwayinto melted chocolate; lift and quickly shakeexcess chocolate back into bowl. If desired,roll dipped edge in granola or toffee; returnto baking sheet in freezer. Repeat withremaining sandwiches, chocolate, and granolaor toffee.
