Ingredients

  • tablespoon flour all-purpose
  • tablespoon ginger fresh minced
  • 0.1 teaspoon ground allspice 
  • 0.3 teaspoon ground cinnamon 
  • 0.1 teaspoon pepper 
  • 0.8 cup sugar 
  • tablespoons water 
  • 0.3 cup vinegar white
  • 16 ounce jellied cranberry sauce canned

Directions

  1. Combine cranberry sauce and next 6 ingredients in a medium saucepan. Stir together flour and 2 tablespoons water until smooth; add to cranberry mixture.
  2. Bring mixture to a boil, stirring constantly; reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes or until thickened and bubbly.
  3. Remove from heat; cool. Store in an airtight container in refrigerator.
  4. Serve with cream cheese and gourmet crackers or with meat.
  5. *Whole-berry cranberry sauce may be substituted.
