Ingredients

  •  bay leaves 
  • teaspoons pepper black
  • 1.5 cups cilantro leaves 
  • teaspoons thyme dried
  • 0.3 cup garlic clove chopped
  • teaspoons ground cumin 
  • servings sauce 
  • 0.8 cup onion chopped
  • teaspoons oregano dried
  • teaspoon salt 
  • 1.5 pound sirloin steak 
  • cup vinegar white

Directions

  1. Trim fat from steak, and set aside.
  2. Combine cilantro and next 9 ingredients (cilantro through bay leaves) in a large zip-top plastic bag.
  3. Add steak to bag, and seal. Marinate in refrigerator for 3 hours, turning occasionally.
  4. Remove steak from bag; discard marinade.
  5. Prepare grill.
  6. Place steak on grill rack coated with cooking spray; grill steak 8 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness.
  7. Let stand 3 minutes.
  8. Cut steak diagonally across grain into thin slices.
  9. Serve with Chimichurri Sauce.
