Ingredients

  • 0.3 teaspoon almond extract 
  • inch cinnamon 
  • 0.3 cup marshmallow creme 
  • cups skim milk 
  • tablespoons sugar 
  • 0.3 cup cocoa unsweetened
  • 1.5 teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Place milk and 2 cinnamon sticks in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  2. Remove from heat, and let cool 10 minutes.
  3. Remove and discard cinnamon sticks.
  4. Combine cocoa and sugar; stir well.
  5. Add to milk mixture, and stir well. Stir in marshmallow cream. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly with a wire whisk, until thoroughly heated.
  6. Remove from heat; stir in flavorings.
  7. Pour into individual mugs.
  8. Garnish with cinnamon sticks, if desired.
